Shirakawago and Takayama had long been on our dream list, and we were so glad to experience them the right way — renting a Toyota Alphard from Easy Travel Japan for a day trip from Nagoya. The best decision! Both destinations are quite far from Nagoya, so vehicle comfort was very important. The Alphard was incredibly comfortable — the reclining seats made the long journey feel very relaxed, not tiring at all. At Shirakawago we were enchanted by the unique traditional gassho-zukuri houses, the scenery was like a painting. We then continued to Takayama to explore the old town Sanmachi Suji, the morning market, and taste the famous Hida cuisine. Truly two very different but equally beautiful cities! Ms Liu's English was limited but she was very professional and always ready with the translation app — no communication issues at all. Stephanie from the operations team was also very helpful in planning the schedule between both destinations so we were never rushed. For Indonesian friends wanting a Shirakawago and Takayama day trip from Nagoya, the Toyota Alphard from Easy Travel Japan is absolutely the right choice!
